How long does the process for getting cleared with the facility take?

The process could take anywhere from a week to 3 months. The process is dependent upon the Georgia State Government which also has to do background checks and applications of employment for the entire state of Georgia so it could take some time to be cleared.

What if I do not have a copy of my social security card?

You will have to get a copy of your social security card from your local social security office. The facility must have a copy of the social security card from everyone.

What if I have a criminal record?

Any past crimes against children need not apply because your application will be rejected.

Other past crimes will depend on each facility’s preference based on the individual so the best way to find out is to apply.

Is there an age limit to join?

Participants should be at least 21 years of age.

What clothing should I not wear to the institution?

It’s always a good idea to dress conservatively. The following is a list of some of the clothing deemed inappropriate: Tank tops, skin tight or spandex clothing, shorts that are more than 3 inches above the knee, skirts, fish net style clothing, clothing with offensive language/pictures, military style camouflage clothing to include jungle (green), urban (grey or black), and desert (tan or brown), and see thru clothing.

Can I give anything to the inmate during our visit?

No. With the exception of foods purchased inside the visiting park, you may not exchange or give anything to the inmate.

Can I give inmates my personal information?

We advise that you Do Not share any personal info like address, phone number or email with any inmates in the center.

Can I give inmates my current charges?

Please let inmates know that you cannot discuss any information about their current case.
